Strider, real name Ben Watts, is Splank's latest addition. After spending years as a bedroom dj and going largely unnoticed, he decided the next logical step was to get into production. His first release on Splank! will be the dancefloor orientated 'Tiger Uppercut/Hotrod' (along with a remix by breaks heavyweights Superstyle Deluxe). He also has a release penned this year for Control Breaks, displaying his straight up electro persuasions.
Strider’s production style suits the Splank! sound down to the ground, crazy lfo acid noises compliment the ever farting bass sounds and computer noises. His sound has a big b-boy electro vibe, marking his debut release this year – expect plenty more dancefloor bombs to follow.
